Consideration when it comes to hydration is extremely important for all pets, but especially cats. Through the decades of vetting, my wife Toni and I saw countless feline health conditions that were caused by or could be helped through better hydration. Cats tend to naturally be dehydrated, which oftentimes leads to a dried-out gastrointestinal tract. When the GI tract is not properly hydrated, cats will begin vomiting food back up and may experience bouts of diarrhea, both of which lead to many more health issues including malnutrition.
While our dry cat kibble foods are formulated to help encourage the consumption of water, but for those cats that need just a little more hydration in their diet, we are very excited to now offer four canned cat food formulas. These foods may be fed in conjunction with our dry kibble or on their own.
