All Breed Dog Recipe

I have a very picky Maltese. I have thrown away so much food. He eats this. I bought the Chicken with Vegetables and Herbs, and he loves it. He is super active and playful and finally eating a healthy amount of kibble. He's only 7 lbs, so I needed a reliable kibble he would eat. 5 stars in my opinion!!! I supplement his diet with other foods as well, but he loves this food!

The smaller bite sizes are great for my older dog that has very weak teeth. I found that I have to match most foods for my dog with the smaller ones. I've noticed that he's been able to chew them quite a bit easier.

Our Chihuahua eats it and seems happy enough eating it. The packaging says it has beet pulp fiber. I haven�t really noticed any changes, but I haven�t noticed any issues either. Also lists ingredients for energy, but our dog is as lazy as ever lol. My favorite thing about this 4 pound bag is that it has a zip top closure. It�s the little things sometimes. Helps keep the food fresh, especially for a little dog who doesn�t eat much. I�d purchase this again because our dog eats it, it agrees with her, and the bag has a zip top.

Both of my dogs liked this food and did not have any digestive issues. Seems like it has good ingredients.

This is not a grain-free dog food, and I'm not convinced grain free is always the way to go for most dogs anyway. At any rate, I like the ingredients in this food and my guys are doing very well on it. They seem to like it. It hasn't caused them any digestive upsets or other issues I can find. I like that this is made in the USA, and I like that this seems to be a high quality, reputable company. Both of my dogs are previously unwanted mutts, and they deserve good, healthy food.

Dogs went wild for this food, they gobbled it up. Really good quality ingredients with lots of fruit and veggies and herbs as well as fiber. Comes in a small 4 lb bag, which is good to see if your dogs like it and to make sure it agrees with them. I do wish the 1st ingredient was chicken, not chicken meal. That is my only complaint, especially for the price. Otherwise top notch food.

This dog food was developed by a veterinarian who wanted to find a more nutritious line of dog and cat food. My dogs love it.

We have a few variations of this dog food and the rescues adore it. They can be picky at times but devoured it before I finished filling the bowl. The list of ingredients is good, but I don't have a lot of product to be able to determine its effectiveness. I can tell you it's extremely palatable and even picky dogs like the taste, so it should be easy to feed most dogs. Pretty good.

My roughly 25 lb miniature poodle mix surprisingly likes this food! He's been a bit picky since I adopted him, but he seems to like the size of the kibble and the taste. It makes meal time a lot less painful. I also love the packaging, as it includes a sliding zipper to lock it closed. Seems like a great quality food too.

This is basically a chicken-based kibble. At least that is the main protein listed. The dogs seem to enjoy it as they gobble it up and lick the bowls clean. The smallish kibble does well for my roughly 40 lb dogs. The food definitely looks to be of high quality and not crumbly or powdery like some other brands. The kibble looks shiny or oily, which seems like a good thing to me. Dogs are doing well with the food and enjoy eating it. I went to the company's website and was impressed that they talk about the different aspects of the food and explain why they chose certain ingredients, the size of the kibble, packaging, etc.

My dog likes, but doesn't love this flavor. The ingredients are good and, even though my dog is large, the small bag helps with his food storage mite allergies. Decent food.

My picky eaters enjoyed this as much as the lamb formula. I generally buy only lamb, so I was surprised. They had no issues with sensitive stomachs. If you want your dog to love dinner, this is a good bet. My dogs stalk me for the next serving. They know the sound of the bag and zipping it open. I like knowing the ingredients are healthy. I highly recommend this food and appreciate the zipped bag that keeps it fresh.

We have a 9-year-old Polish Lowland Sheepdog who has a little bit of a sensitive stomach, usually triggered by poultry products. Our measure of success with a dog food is whether or not she eats it the first time she's presented with it and whether there are any digestive after-effects later. Simply put: She likes the flavor and her tummy hasn't had any issues with the food. The very first ingredient is chicken meal and we still didn't have an issue with digestion. That's a success for us. This is the third flavor from Dr. Gary's that we've tried, and they have all been well-received. One of the things that's important to us now, with urging from our vet, is making sure she's getting foods rich in omega fatty acids for her coat.

We have three rescues and what we feed them is very important to us. This recipe has chicken with no by-products. It's also made in the USA, which is important to us. We had been feeding our dogs another brand but they became bored with it, so we switched to this. I'm glad we did. We chose to try Best Breed because it was formulated by a veterinarian. Our dogs love the taste of this food and eat it right up. Pablo, Frankie and Gus give this Best Breed food an A+! Five stars!

I like the ingredients, the fact that it is made to EU standards and has no corn, wheat or by-product meals. Chicken is the primary protein. The dogs like this food and the kibble is about a medium size � good for dogs of small-medium and up. Protein is listed at 25%, which to me is perfect for a house dog in terms of enough, but not too much energy. Good food and the dogs know it. Beet pulp is fairly high on the list and can be helpful for dogs with loose stools.

This is overall a well-balanced dry dog food, in my opinion. Our dog has quite a coat and he loves this food, eating it quickly and swallowing the small kibbles mostly whole. I believe it's very healthful and am happy with this dry dog food. It even has beet pulp fiber. The ingredients include chicken meal, oatmeal, pearled barley, dried beet pulp, sorghum, chicken fat, egg product, fish meal, flax seed, fish oil and New Zealand sea mussel.

Nice thick bag, easy rip texture and seals nice. Wish it was a bit cheaper but I no longer have to drive to a pet store, so it�s a plus!

Our pup is a true Lab, and she has lots of allergies. We've found corn and wheat to be big contributors to allergies and diarrhea for her. That being said, she does ok on rice, quinoa and other grains. We like options like this with rice or other grains that we can feed as kibble. Our Lab enjoyed all the flavors and had no issues with them from a GI perspective. We also didn't see any sort of skin flareup for her. Our smaller pup said this was ok, but she loves her other kibbles better. All in all we're happy. Pretty much every food will have something you don't love or find ideal, but at the end of the day our Lab tolerates this brand well.

Not sure what it is about the Best Breed foods, but my pupper loves them. She's a small breed so the pieces are a little big for her, but she still chows down on them pretty quickly. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the Best Breed foods that I've tried out and my pupper is too! She loves them and I love them � a win-win!

This is a really good brand of dog food. My Border Collie is getting up in years, so I have been trying to buy higher quality, more nutritious food for her. This fits the bill. She really seems to like the taste of it.

The dogs love it and I love what it�s done for their skin and fur. Upon our veterinarian�s advice we said we�d try it for three months. No more constant scratching, much less dry skin, and best of all no more raunchy farts! Even from my bulldog!

Healthy alternative to your everyday dog food. Veterinarian formulated and high quality ingredients. Meant for an all breed diet. My dog enjoys this brand very much and the size of the dog pellets is fairly average. Holistic brand made with care and insight on your dog's health. I highly recommend giving this product a try.

My dogs love this food! I love that the bag zips up! The ingredients are superior to most dog food, the packaging is fantastic and no bugs can get into the bag! Having a dog with food allergies has made me picky about what my dogs eat. This is a product that makes me feel good feeding them. We love Best Breed dog food!

This is very good stuff. Ingredients are great and my dogs absolutely love this.

I have 7 small dogs and though the majority of my dogs' diet is homemade, I always try to have a high quality commercial dog food on hand for emergencies or times when meat purchases at my local grocery store aren't available. I was a little hesitant since the first ingredient is chicken meal, but I know from research that many high-end dog foods use chicken meal as a source of protein. I decided to give it a try and, if I were to simply go by my dogs' reaction to it, it is a winner. I served it to 6 of my 7 small dogs and 5 of them polished it off quickly and asked for more. The 6th, a diva who only wants her food homecooked and served on a china dish, politely declined, which made the others happy since they got to eat hers. So this passed the taste test and also the ingredient test for the most part, though I do wish they would add some actual real meat to the mix. The price is actually very affordable and I was pleased with the zip lock top on the bag. I will happily add this to my arsenal of dog food supplies.

It's one thing to say a food is natural, but there are plenty of natural things that are bad for our pets. It's another to do food right. There are some really good smaller food makers we can choose from who care about making a quality USA-made product. This seems like a high quality food.
