Grain Free Cat Recipe

Here's the run down. The list of ingredients are very high quality and not the usual questionable fillers. Kibble size is just right and it's not too big that cats will spit out. Very kitten friendly. My fussy indoor cat and outdoor stray kitty all loved it. Normally this is very hard to achieve.

I like the shape on the food. It is tri point which my cats seems to prefer over an oval to round kibble. Ingredients better than most. There is so much junk in pet food today. Still high amount of legume fillers which pets in the wild would not eat ... they would mainly eat animals and bugs. We have a handful of outside cats who hunt in our woods and they are actually WAY healthier than our indoor cats. The outside cats eat mice, frogs, and bugs. I think that should say a whole lot for what animals should actually be eating to be healthy. But ... not having grain is a plus. US Wheat especially is so bad for our gut biome and brains both humans and animals alike.Cats will eat it, so taste test approved. Would we repurchase it? Not sure presently. It didn't have a wow factor, but it had a lot of plusses.

As my older cats are fussy about their food I only filled one bowl to test out this brand but I needed to move quickly and fill more bowls as they were soon all jostling for position with all their heads in the bowl. Kittens and geriatrics all seemed to be eager to gobble, which is a rare phenomenon. The kibbles are small enough for the kittens to chew without difficulty but they had a hard time pushing the adults out of the way as they were Hoovering it up as fast as possible. I've not seen this reaction before and I've tried most of the premium brands.

This is a nice, well rounded food. The ingredients are good quality and well balanced. There are no by products...I will not buy a food that contains them...and it�s grain free. I really like that this food has a high protein content, which is a must when you have super active kitties like mine. I have three fur babies and two of them enjoyed this food. The third is seven and not afraid to go on a hunger strike if he doesn�t want what I�ve offered. Overall this is a good quality cat food. It is a bit pricey in comparison to foods with similar content and even some that are better.

I received this cat food to review and was excited to try it. I checked out the contents carefully. It's healthy food and has all the nutrients my cat needs at twelve years old and sedentary (an in-door cat). It isn't beefed up with fat or flavor concentrates. I started it slow, blending it half and half with the cat food I'd been using and gradually decreasing the old food and increasing the new. For a week and a half, she pretty much ignored it, preferring to yowl at me instead for not feeding her all. She has now adjusted to it and everything's fine. I'm glad because this is the food she should be eating, especially at their age.

This product arrived nicely sealed and with a strong ziptab at the top to keep it fresh. The individual kibbles are small and I believe somewhat star shaped, and my two cats set upon it in their bowls like they had been starving. They are not especially fussy when it comes to dry food, but do have differences in enthusiasm depending on flavor and appeal. This looked like a 10 out of 10.The top ingredients here are chicken meal, egg product, chicken fat, red lentils, chickpeas, green peas and whitefish meal. The essential supplement taurine appears here as well. Crude protein weighs in at 38 percent, which is a very good number, as you often see 30+ percent recommended, and sometimes 35 to 40 percent specifically.

My cat is pretty hardy, so she�s rarely had allergic or digestive problems with anything I�ve fed her. The issue for my cat is whether she will eat what I give her. While she usually accepts whatever food I have given her, there have been a few that she refused to touch, so it�s always a concern for me when I�m choosing a new food for her.After reading the Best Breed label and seeing all of its nutritious ingredients, I was hoping she would like it. I always try to feed her the most nutritious foods I can find, but ultimately, it�s up to her; no matter how nutritious the food is, if she won�t eat it, it doesn�t matter.Thankfully, she loves this food. Normally, I put her food out twice a day and she nibbles on it whenever she gets hungry. There is almost always food left in her bowl when I give her her late feeding. With this food, her bowl is always empty when it�s time for her late feeding � that almost never happens.Overall, I am happy with Best Breed cat food and I would buy it again.

Cats loved it. Great quality ingredients but it�s a little on the expensive side for pet food in my opinion but my cats did enjoy it.

Good GI function is important with the three finicky felines in this house; especially since they�re indoor and prone to hairballs from all the grooming they do. And all three do enjoy dry kibble alongside their daily dose of wet food. So what did they think of Best Breed grain-free? Smell: It smelled okay. Flavor: They seemed interested in it and all three gave it a try. Overall: Major bonus that this is meant for all-ages because the kitties range in age from 3-to-10. There�s a lot of other ingredients in it, but I didn�t do a comparison with similarly priced foods to see how it compares, but there are some ingredients that I�d prefer not be included as they�re mostly fillers.This listing didn�t make mention of what the primary protein is nor does it provide an ingredients list, so I took a pic, if you�re interested.

My three cats really seemed to enjoy this grain-free cat food. They enjoyed the flavor and I like that this cat food has a great ingredients list with the highest quality of ingredients. I highly recommend this cat food as it is a good value for the price.

This is my first purchase from Best Breed so I did not know what to expect.Quality sourced ingredients that are antibiotic free. Its kind of like whole foods for your pups.They just love the flavor, and I love it that I know they are eating right

My cats vote yes on this food. They have been used to a very expensive Blue Buffalo food and I was confident that it was the best food for them. I still believe that Blue Buffalo is a good food but I am even happier with this food. Presented with two bowls of food, one Blue Buffalo and one Best Breed, the bowl of Best Breed empties quicker. I have also noticed an improvement in their litter boxes, less stinky for sure and we all want that!This food is chock full of goodness for my fur friends and made in the USA. It comes with a hefty price but not as much as some other brands. In the long run, feeding a good food keeps pets healthy and eliminates a lot of Vet bills.I would suggest to Best Brands that they make an adjustment on the title of this product and eliminate the word Dog.

There's no potato or tapioca in this one. Instead there's taurine, beet pulp fiber and cranberries. These are common sense ingredients according to the founder's philosophy. The founder is Dr. Gary Cotton, and he's helping to keep more cats healthy than any vet I know about.Our cat surprised us by liking this dry food the first time. We've been rotating different cat foods for some time now, and our cat became a lot easier to switch foods on. I like to think our cat understands what healthy cat food tastes like, and he won't touch a couple of the most popular brands that he grew up on before we got him from a rescue shelter. I recommend trying this food for anybody's cat.

My cat enjoys eating this Best Breed Grain Free cat food. I like that the first ingredient is chicken meal, followed by egg product and chicken fat. It also contains whitefish meal further down in the ingredients.The crude protein % is excellent. I'm not thrilled that there's "natural chicken flavor" in the ingredient list, but added flavor is common for most dry pet food. Overall, it's a pretty good cat food and I like that it's made in the USA.

Since I�ve been giving my cat this cat food, her coat is so much prettier and sicker and shiny and she just has more energy. It�s wonderful.

As you can see from the photos, my cats love this food. I personally like the fact that the bag is resealable, with a plastic zipper, so you don't have to worry about spills. The pieces are tiny enough that even an older cat or a cat with teeth problems (as my cat in the second photo has) would be able to eat this. Obviously they're enjoying it, so I might have to change to this brand to keep them happy! Highly recommended.

The kitties went wild for this food, they really loved it. Really good quality ingredients grain free with lots of fruit and veggies and even eggs! Comes in a small 4lb bag. Good to see if your cats like it & to make sure it agrees with them. Really wonderful and top notch cat food I feel good about giving.

I'll be honest. I got this cat foot and am reviewing it, but I didn't even taste one bite of it myself! I know, I know. How can I tell you if it's good or not? Well, I'll let Pilchard tell you what he thinks:"Meow, meow, good stuff, meow, tasty, meow, ate the whole dang bowl, meow, always want more, meow, yell at my owner if bowl is empty, meow, oooh, a laser pointer!"OK, I don't know where Pilchard went, but I think he likes it. Pilchard is a pretty tough customer. I've sat many a tasty-looking bowls of kibble in front of him only to have him give me a blank stare and bounce. He's pretty finicky, but he seems to like it. As do his pals. The morsels are a little smaller than most brands of cat food, but I guess that aids in digestion. And, for me, I like the fact that it has a lot of natural ingredients and is formulated for GI-tract health. I want to feed my cats anything that will make them healthier and let them live longer. You're gonna pay a little more for this cat food, but if you have the means and want to treat your kitties right, this is the way to go.

As an animal lover and kitty parent all my young life 70ish I get the best for my fur babies. My last kitty lived for 21 years; currently I am the proud mommy of one who is almost 4. I provide as I would for myself, fresh water, sound ingredients in the foods. This one smells and tastes yummy.

We have seven cats with only five being inside/outside. The other two are only outside. I�ve been trying different foods lately just because I think they need to try something different. I saw this food being offered, and I thought I�d give it a try. I always give my cats new food as a treat so they don�t revolt. I put this down, and half of the cats ate it right away. The other three sniffed it, tried it, then walked away. I don�t think they hated it, but they weren�t fond of it. I like the ingredients, and I wish that they liked it more, but I think it�s good food. Recommend.

While this is kind of pricey, considering the ingredients and goodness included for my kitties it is fair. Furthermore, while my kitty liked it because it was new, she quickly grew tired of the same flavor and moved on to other brands to keep her weight up. After a full rotation, she did enjoy it once again so this is a win. Highly recommended.

Cats seemed to like it, I did not notice any digestive issues. They were coming off the indoor iams food.
