Back in 1997 we sourced an exceptionally high-quality catfish from the South – low in ash, high in protein, and remarkably fresh – and built our original "Catfish with Vegetables" formula around it. Dogs loved the taste and their owners loved that it didn't carry any fishy odor.

After about 13 years on the market, we began receiving Catfish that were simply not up to our quality standards, and we made the painful decision to pull the formula. About a decade later, we reconnected with that same supplier – new management, the issues resolved – and relaunched it as our Freshwater Recipe.

Built around USA-sourced catfish and whitefish, the formula delivers rich omega-3 fatty acids for skin, coat, and inflammation support, natural sources of glucosamine for joint health, and probiotics for healthy digestion.
