Grain-Free Ocean Recipe (Salmon)

This is the only dog food my dog will eat!

I’ve been feeding our 2 year old dachshund this after switching from another brand, and for the past year or so, I’ve had zero complaints. His allergies and paw irritation have stopped acting up I’m assuming it’s because of the lack of grain in this food. Overall, great product!!!

I just discovered this food as a recommendation for my two dogs that otherwise are healthy, but they get yeast infections in their ears quite often leading to lots of vet bills and uncomfortable fur babies. * For those that have commented that their dogs refuse to eat this food and they have wasted good money please try adding a few tablespoons of hot water to the dry food, stir it up. One of my two babies initially snubbed her nose at it as well. Once I did this she eats it with no issues and I’m not adding garbage wet food to it defeating the purpose of this great healthy food. Mine have only been on this for less than a month, so hoping this will help with their ear infections, but definitely worth a try. And try the water on the food. Not a lot just enough to wet it, your dog may be more enticed to eat it;)

This food is absolutely amazing! Our Dalmatian would shed so much that it looked like it had snowed dog hair in our house but once we switched to this food it was a complete 180. His skin was better and he didn’t shed nearly as much. My husband started getting another food when we got another breed of dog but our Dalmatian really suffered. But he’s back on it and I’m so glad

Had to switch foods due to chicken and grain allergies. This food has quality ingredients and probiotics. My vet recommended it, and it has worked out well. I have a large dog, but the kibble size is small enough for small dogs too. My dog's licking and vomiting seem to have resolved on this food. I hope it stays that way.

I recently switched to Best Breed grain-free Salmon and my german shepherd loves it. I like the high protein and grain free formula for my very active sport dog. We also use it as treats for training and for fun. Excellent food!

I�ve been feeding Dr. Gary�s holistic grain free dog food to my Cavalier since he was a puppy. It was recommended by my vet. He�s four years old now, healthy, happy and bright eyed with a beautiful coat. I switch between the three grain free recipes � Red Meat, Ocean and Country � and he loves them all. We haven't had any problems with digestion when switching from one to the other.

This is a good option for dogs with protein sensitivities when grains are a no-go. Poop is well formed, with some smell but nothing overwhelming.

My first time purchasing Dr. Gary's, and for the most part I am very pleased with the salmon and vegetables variety. I like the ingredients and the calorie count per cup, though I did take a star off for their use of fish meal instead of whole salmon and whitefish. As with most foods, our picky girl has days she won't eat it or only some of it, but that's not the product, just our Maya frustrating us!

If you have a dog with allergies, switching to Gary's has really helped. Grain free.

I have 4 dogs that require high protein, high fat diets due to their activity level. They all love this food & theres no digestive issues. Best breed also meets all of my standards for a dog food since i won’t feed anything with artificial flavors, preservatives or dyes.

I have a 5-year-old mini goldendoodle who was rescued from a puppy mill. She was underweight, and the rescue group recommended Dr. Gary's grain-free salmon recipe with fruits and vegetables. She has transformed into a beautiful, healthy-looking princess! No tear stains, clean ears, small formed poops and no upset tummy. No itchy skin either. I add a little warm water to the kibble and she loves it!

They love it so much that when necessary (out of snacks) they’ll accept it as a treat in addition to mealtime. The fur babies-over the years- love it

Awesome food! My picky eaters love it! Went thru environmental changes, foods, apoquel, supplements... this worked!

Jaxson, my 10-year-old Shih-Tzu, has had increasing allergies. He itches and gets yeast issues. I've been reading and listening to vets, and decided we needed to change food to avoid as many grains as possible. After two days of blending the foods, we started them on all Dr. Gary's. So far there have been no adverse effects! With more time, we're hoping to see less itching.

Trying to find dog food that doesn't contain a bunch of ingredients I don't recognize is hard. This food seems very clean and good for dogs with allergies. I'm hopeful to see a change in my dogs' coats as we continue using it. Bought it for my Dane and American Bulldog.

Best dog food ever! My dog is 12 and has been on it all his life!
